Mortgage Broker

About the role:

At HomeEase, we simplify the mortgage experience for both clients and brokers. Our mission is to make homeownership accessible through transparency, fast pre-approvals, and personalized support. We’re expanding our network of motivated brokers across Canada.

What You'll Do:

• Consult with clients to understand their financial needs and advise on mortgage solution(Residential, Commercial, Refinance, etc).
• Prepare and structure mortgage applications for submission to lenders, including writing detailed deal notes, risk analysis, and borrower profiles.
• Stay current with lender policies, credit guidelines, and market trends.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, lenders, and industry partners.
• Manage the Deal process from lead generation through funding with attention to accuracy and compliance.

What We Look For:

• Prior experience in sales, finance, or customer service is preferred.
• Strong writing and communication skills are required.
• 2+ years of experience in mortgage underwriting, deal structuring, or case writing is an asset but not required.
• A positive, professional attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with credit reports, income verification, amortization, and mortgage documentation.
• Applicants must be motivated to enroll in to BCFSA licensing course if not already enrolled or holds an active license For more information on this course please refer to: Broker's License Course | UBC Sauder School of Business.
